The State of Michigan is formally adopting new mechanical, plumbing, and electrical codes effective March 12, 2024.

These include:

• Part 8. Electrical Code 2023 Second Printing of the National Electric Code (NEC 2023)
• Part 7. Plumbing Code 2021 Second Printing of the International Plumbing Code (MPC 2021)
• Part 9.A. Mechanical Code 2021 International Mechanical Code (MMC 2021)
