Quinn Evans Architects Adds Four to Ann Arbor Office Staff
Design Firm Expands Architecture, Interiors Expertise:
Quinn Evans Architects, an award-winning planning and design practice, has added four new staff members in the firm’s Ann Arbor, Mich., office. Kristen Nyht, AIA, LEED AP, has been named a senior architect. Benjamin Telian, AIA, LEED AP, has been named an architect, Amy McNamara, AIA, LEED AP, has been named a designer, and Fatima Beacham is an interior designer.
Kristen Nyht, AIA, LEED AP, senior architect, has 20 years of architectural experience, most recently with higher education and institutional clients. She holds both Master of Architecture (1999) and Bachelor of Science (1996) degrees from the University of Michigan. Nyht is currently working on the firm’s largest design project, the modernization of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
Benjamin Telian, AIA, LEED AP, architect, holds a Master of Architecture degree (2012) and a Bachelor of Science degree (2005) from the University of Michigan. Skilled in project management for higher education and institutional projects, Telian was recently responsible for the window replacement and restoration at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing.
Amy McNamara, AIA, LEED AP, designer, holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan (2011) and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College in Chicago (1994). McNamara’s experience includes working as a digital artist on Academy Award-winning films at Disney/Pixar for more than a decade. She is currently working on the design of the renovation and expansion of the Allegan District Library in Michigan.
Fatima Beacham, interior designer, holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Ohio State University (1997). Beacham has significant experience in workplace interiors and is currently working on the interior design for the renovation of 985 Michigan Avenue, a federal office building in Detroit. The project is part of the U.S. General Services Administration’s Design Excellence program.
