The student center is the campus home for over 20,000 students. Situated in the heart of campus, anchoring the northwest quadrant of the Elliott Tower Plaza, over 10,000 people circulate through its doors daily. The goal of this major update was driven by the desire to embrace both residential and commuter students, and to offer them a welcoming space to support academic and extra-curricular activities for everyone on campus. The original student center was constructed in 1958 with major additions being added in 1961, 1969, and 2003.
