Architectural Drafter

An Architectural Drafter (AD) at DAG is a team member within our studio environment who supports the Project Architect/Manager and other team members. The AD should be motivated, self-directed, and interested in being a part of a highly collaborative office setting. As a small firm engaged in a variety of project types, there is a great opportunity for diverse challenges and growth. This is a position of growth for younger architectural graduates and for other professionals looking for great growth potential.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
– Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously  Prepare scale drawings and architectural designs, using CAD/Revit or other tools
– Strong emphasis on Code Review and Compliance
– Capably document existing site/building observations, measuring and documentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
– Education:
– Applicable educational history
– Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; Knowledge of Revit, Sketch-Up, and Photoshop a plus
– Minimum two years of related professional experience preferred, but DAG is open to new hires and new graduates looking to advance
– Comfortable interacting with designers/architects/engineers
– Self-motivated and possess the desire to become an integral member of the team
– Demonstrable integrity and professionalism
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Familiarity with architecture, engineering, planning, and interior design
