During this upcoming presentation where we will dive deep into expansion joints, we’ll discuss how a tailored technological approach aids architects, engineers, and contractors to find best practice expansion joint solutions.

We’ll discuss:
Where to place building expansion joints and how to hide them
How to accommodate various types of movement (thermal, seismic, shear, and horizontal/vertical displacement)
Design of control layers and integration with and through expansion joints
Considerations for maintaining fire rating
Constructability of expansion joints

SPEAKER INFO:
Dave Bratek’s diversified engineering career has spanned over 40 years. He has held positions as a Director of Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing and currently serves as Vice President of MM Systems located in Atlanta, Georgia.
