Seminar Description:
This three-hour, Building Codes 101 / 102 program combines the highlights of both 101, “How to use the Code,” with 102, “Code Data Requirements for Permit Drawings.” A great introduction for emerging professionals and those who want to gain overall understanding of these topics. It is also provides a good review and updates for seasoned professionals. Key topics include zoning, occupancy, building heights and areas, construction types, egress, and accessibility. Zoning and code data requirements for permit drawings will also be presented.
Presenters are members of the AIA Detroit, Building Code & Regulations Committee.
