The Director of Marketing & Strategy is an advocate, collaborator, and maestro that leads, develops and executes strategic business development and marketing plans that support overall firm vision and growth, to achieve identified performance goals. The director is responsible for creating a unified and seamless experience for all who interact with INFORM’s brand. They set the tone for all external and internal communications to ensure that all messaging and communication strategies are consistent across all channels. 


• Work with Leadership to evolve INFORM’s brand and market position. 

• Conduct research to support strategic goals in critical markets, sectors, thought leadership, etc. Work with Leadership to plan and execute strategies for developing new and existing markets, and new sectors based on the research. Lead business development and project pursuits related to strategic planning. 

• Provide strategic and creative oversight for collateral, proposals, interviews, presentations, events, and other marketing activities. 

• Lead and manage completed project positioning including photography, assembling data, project narrative, and public relations strategy. 

• Work with leadership to identify measurable marketing and PR goals. Develop & implement annual marketing activities & PR initiatives including thought leadership engagements, award submissions, media placements, and strategic events. 

• Develop and manage annual business development and marketing budgets to be approved by the CFO. Track, analyze, and report marketing expenditures for annual ROI analysis. 


• 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, advertising, branding or related field 

• Proven track record of Brand Strategy and Management 

• Experience in the A/E/C industry including knowledge of the AEC RFQ/P Process 

• Strong business acumen 

• Excellent at critical thinking and problem solving 

• Ability to synthesize complex goals into actionable strategies and communications 

• Excellent visual and written storytelling skills 

• Strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills 

• Advanced InDesign skills and proven graphic design experience, including layout, typography, and information design
