Summary: Assist in preparing complete and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties.
Required Qualifications:
· B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited school of Architecture
· 6 or more years of architecture practice experience (including at least 1 year of U.S. experience).
Essential Job Responsibilities:
· Strong design portfolio
· Managing clients with multiple projects.
· Maintaining relationships with clients to provide a high level of service.
· Involvement with pre-design and programming phases of a project.
· Overseeing the production of design documents
· Guiding and producing all document phases of a project, SD, DD, CD, and CA.
· Coordinating project consultant efforts.
· Strong collaboration and organizational skills are a must.
·. Hands-on approach and flexibility are a must.
· Consults in the planning, design and coordination of large complex projects.
· Responsible for technical design aspects of an assigned major project including investigation, evaluation and recommendations.
· Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
· Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
· Knowledge of local building code is required.
· Serving as the technical leader and project manager for significant development projects. The ability to manage several simultaneous projects is a requirement, overlooking different project teams.
· Establishing the initial project schedule and regular maintenance of project schedules. This activity includes the recommendation of appropriate staffing for each design activity
· Strong Project Management skills
· Experience with Revit is preferred.
· U.S. Architecture license is preferred
Other Requirements:
· Experience with Revit is preferred.
· U.S. Architectural License preferred
· Knowledge of the City Building Code is preferred.
