This mixed-use residential development, created as a design response for a proposal requested by the city, is conceived as more than a project to satisfy the increasing demand for housing in the Midtown neighborhood of Detroit. It is envisioned as a retail and community space where people choose to live and visit, and where they can gather, connect and grow together. Favorably positioned between Midtown and Downtown and within a half mile of the Q-Line, the site provides excellent connectivity to the city’s largest employment centers and activity nodes.
A people-focused design strategy relates to the larger neighborhood culturally and equitably, offering inclusive housing and social opportunities, creating an exciting diversity of both people and spaces in Midtown. Residential amenities and quality of life components are integrated throughout the proposed design and modern architecture that provides a beautiful environment for neighbors and an enviable home for its residents.
