We are currently seeking a Designer to join our team in the Southfield studio. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and has the ability to work across multiple market sectors.

Who you are:
· Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience
· A team player with the ability to offer critical thinkers a unique opportunity to explore design in a collaborative office environment

What you will do:
· Generate new concepts and create fresh ideas on a variety of project types to meet client requirements.
· Experience in all phases of the design process including execution of conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documentation.
· Work collaboratively in a Design Team to establish quality design solutions.
· Ability to research and select proper building materials that will enhance design.
· Perform analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies and limited design layouts
· Assist with project specifications by providing relevant and required product, equipment information and compiling and analyzing relevant data
· Independently perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity
· Contribute to our culture of equality, creativity, and innovation; think outside the box

Your Education + Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent degree is preferred
· Licensure and/or certification are assets
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Modeling, 3-D Studio Max is a plus, Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and SketchUp.
· Strong verbal and graphic communication skills and ability to work within diverse teams of designers.
· Previous experience working in commercial, multi-family, higher education, workplace, or retail
· Knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment design specifications
· Knowledge of project specifications for design-related products and equipment
